1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using EventFlick ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

EventFlick is an event management platform that allows users to:

• Create and manage events
• Invite photographers to events
• Upload and organize event photos
• Manage event subscriptions and payments

3. Account Registration

To use our Service, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Verify your email address
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Event Subscriptions

• Each event requires a separate annual subscription of €60 (excluding VAT)
• VAT will be calculated and added according to applicable EU regulations
• Subscriptions automatically renew annually unless cancelled
• Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe

4.2 Billing and Refunds

• All payments are billed in advance on an annual basis
• Refunds may be available within 14 days of purchase, subject to our refund policy
• No refunds will be provided for partially used subscription periods
• Failed payments may result in service suspension after a grace period

4.3 Grace Period and Cancellation

• Events remain active for 2 months after subscription expiration
• After the grace period, events will be deactivated
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

5. User Responsibilities

5.1 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without permission

5.2 Content Ownership

• You retain ownership of content you upload
• You grant us a license to store, process, and display your content
• You are responsible for obtaining necessary rights for uploaded content
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms

6. Data Collection and Privacy

We collect and process the following personal data in compliance with GDPR:

• Email addresses: For account management and communication
• First and last names: For account identification
• IP addresses: For security and analytics
• Payment information: Processed securely through Stripe

7. Intellectual Property

• The EventFlick platform and its features are our intellectual property
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software
• Our trademarks and logos are protected
• We respect the intellectual property rights of others

8. Service Availability

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance
• We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our control

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• You use the Service at your own risk
• We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Request account deletion

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the Netherlands.
